Access Coordination on Taskmaster Season 18

So now the series has started I can officially let you lovely people know that I was in fact working with those pesky Taskmasters again for Season 18 of the UK show helping make sure that the amazing Rosie Jones had all her access requirments met. It is always fun to work with the Taskmaster team across all the different challenges they set up making sure they are acessible for the contestants while also making sure the laughs come from the comedy of the situation and not ableism. It’s going to be a heck of a series make sure you watch it! If you can’t watch it on TV make sure you catch it on All 4

Sophie Morgan’s Fight to Fly

Last night you may have seen on Channel 4 Sophie Morgan’s Fight to Fly. If you did then you will aready know it’s a documentary about the challenges faced by Disabled passengers when trying to fly.  Safe to say it’s not easy and as someone who has flown myself on multiple occasions I know some of the challenges it represents. That’s why when I was asked to help access coordinate this project I had to say yes. Without giving to much away it was a huge challenge for so many people on so many levels and this documentary is well worth watching! You can now see it on Channel 4’s Youtube channel.   So get watching!!!

Otto Baxter Not a F***ing Horror Story

I’m really excited today as I can finally announce  project I was Access Coordinating on.  Well technically two the first part being a documentary and the leading project Otto Baxter not a F***ing Horror story.  The story of Otto a man with Down Syndrome which shows the challenges he and his family face when it comes to being a man with a learning disability. Along side that the challenge they had to make his Comedy Horror film…The Puppet Asylum. Which Otto reflects his own life.  It was great to be a part of both of these projects and you can watch the trailer below and watch both on demand on Sky now!   https://youtu.be/UsZRX5oQDcg?si=7p0qagsoh45d8moT

A New BAFTA Member

In some exciting news, I have just become a member of BAFTA!!! This is a career goal I was never sure would happen but through a combination of Acting and Access Coordination work I have been accepted into the membership. As I attended an event at BAFTA early in my career I always thought it would be cool to be a member and now I can officially say its goal achieved. I look forward to the new possibilities this brings!

Lady Chatterley loves again!

Big news today I have had to keep this one quiet for a little while but I have been working behind the scenes as Disability and Access Consultant on the latest version of Lady Carterley’s Lover. This stars the amazing human that is Emma Corrin alongside Jack O’Connell and my now good friend a college the formidable Matthew Duckett.  Mathew is a phenomenal Disabled Actor and he is the first Disabled actor to play Lord Chatterley on film it was a pleasure to work closely with him to help shape his performance, as well as making sure set was accessible to him and all his access requirements were met.  If you want to read more about my work on the movie you can read about it in this Variety article.  You can also see the trailer for Lady Chatterley’s Lover below and of course I recommend watching it on Netflix right now!  https://youtu.be/ZOkXE3B0pDA?si=VKv7JLBOZ6TCyGeC
